Origin

Bundled accessory with the Xiaomi M365 — never sold as a standalone hero product, but became the most-replaced part on the entire M365 platform due to cable wear, plug damage, and units lost during sale/transfer between owners. Xiaomi Mijia ecosystem partner OEM (multiple suppliers across product lifetime; current production primarily Shenzhen-area contract manufacturers) 10S Li-ion at 36V nominal was the cost-optimal sweet spot in 2016 for a 250-350W urban scooter motor — lower than e-bikes (which moved to 48V for hill-climbing torque) and higher than e-skateboards (24V). 2.0A charge rate was chosen as a conservative balance of charge time (~5h for the original 7.8Ah pack) and cell longevity. The format outlived its scooter generation because Xiaomi committed to it across 6+ subsequent models. None directly — the M365 was first-mover in mass-market urban scooters; the charger was simply 'the thing in the box' Ninebot OEM 36V chargers (slightly different connector), Segway Ninebot Max OEM 54V chargers (different voltage), and the aftermarket 4A fast-charger ecosystem
