Origin

The Swoop is Radon's gravity statement — designed from the start for big mountain and enduro riding. While earlier versions used a 27.5" wheel platform, the current generation moved to 29-inch to improve high-speed roll-over and braking stability. Short 438 mm chainstays keep the bike playful despite the long wheelbase, and the rotatable headset gives riders meaningful geometry flexibility without replacing parts. Fox Factory suspension across the top builds delivers enduro-race performance at direct-to-consumer pricing.

The verdict

+Strengths
  • Fox Factory suspension (38 + X2) delivers genuine high-end enduro performance
  • Short chainstays make the bike more playful than typical 29" enduro bikes
  • Adjustable head angle via rotatable headset is a practical no-tools geometry tool
Weaknesses
  • At 15.3 kg the 10.0 build is competitive but not class-leading in weight
  • Alloy rear triangle adds weight versus full-carbon construction
  • High-speed stability focus means less nimble on tight, slow technical trails
