Origin
The Mach 4 SL arrived as Pivot's answer to modern XC racing: a hollow-core carbon frame light enough to sprint, stiff enough to rail corners, and capable enough for rough World Cup courses. The fourth generation (2020+) introduced Toolshed downtube storage and refined DW-link kinematics. Riders can flip between a faster World Cup travel setup (95/103 mm) and a more confident Trail setup (106/115 mm) without tools on the flip chip, letting the same frame serve both racers and trail enthusiasts.
