The 4 Pro series marked a shift for Xiaomi. By switching to 10-inch self-sealing tubeless tires, they finally fixed the notorious puncture issues of the 8.5-inch models. The 2nd Gen model moved to a carbon steel frame and a massive 1000W peak motor, but gained significant weight (19kg), moving it away from 'ultra-portable' territory. Gen 1 (2022-2023): Moved to 10-inch self-sealing tires, larger deck, 700W peak motor. Gen 2 (2024-present): 2nd Gen: Built-in turn indicators, 1000W peak motor, front drum brake instead of E-ABS, increased range.
