Wilier Adlar Hybrid

The Adlar is Wilier's lightweight e-bike platform aimed at riders who want road and adventure-gravel performance with discreet electric assistance. Designed in Rossano Veneto and launched in 2023, it is part of Wilier's broader hybrid range that includes the Filante Hybrid (aero road) and Garda Hybrid (endurance). The Adlar specifically targets the booming Italian and central-European gran-fondo-with-assistance market and the long-distance adventure segment. It uses the German-made TQ HPR50 mid-drive — the same motor Trek puts in the Domane+ SLR — chosen because at 1.85 kg motor weight and 3.9 kg total power-unit weight it is the lightest, quietest and most road-bike-shaped system on the market. Wilier's engineers paired the TQ with their own carbon frame architecture, dropped-stay geometry and integrated cockpit, presenting the Adlar as a bike that 'doesn't look like an e-bike' — a positioning very much in line with the brand's century-old aesthetic restraint.
