Specialized Turbo Como SL

The Turbo Como SL is Specialized's lightweight comfort-commuter e-bike, sharing the SL motor platform with the Levo SL and Vado SL but wrapped in an upright, fully-equipped, swept-back-handlebar package aimed squarely at relaxed urban riding. Launched in 2020, the Como SL pairs the original SL 1.1 motor (35 Nm, 240 W peak) with a 320 Wh internal battery and a comprehensive equipment list: integrated front and rear lights, a frame-mounted front porteur rack with basket and top net, a rear rack compatible with MIK pannier systems, full-coverage DRYTECH fenders, and TRP Flow Set hydraulic disc brakes. The step-through low-entry frame, swept handlebars, and balloon-tire-friendly clearances make it one of the few mainstream e-bikes designed openly for older riders, riders returning to cycling after injury, and short trips with cargo. Range with the optional Range Extender hits roughly 150 km in Eco mode — easily covering a week of European city errands on one charge cycle.
