Specialized Enduro

The Specialized Enduro debuted in 1999 as a 109mm-travel trail bike — not even originally called the Enduro at launch — and helped define what would become the enduro category. The current generation, released in 2020 and refreshed periodically through 2026, is the eighth iteration and is essentially a short-travel Demo: 170mm front and rear, built around the Demo's downhill linkage architecture rather than evolved from the previous Enduro. Designed for one thing — going down faster — while remaining pedalable enough to climb to the top of the stage. The Enduro has won EWS rounds and is widely considered one of the best pure-descending enduro bikes on the market.
