The Speedway 5 is Minimotors' attempt to bring genuine performance into the mid-tier — bridging the gap between the Mini 4 Pro commuter and the full Dualtron lineup. Released in 2022, it features dual 1000W motors, a 60V 23.4Ah battery, 10-inch tubeless pneumatic tires, and a dual-suspension setup with hydraulic shocks front and rear. The Speedway 5 also introduced ABS-assisted disc brakes paired with regenerative electric braking — a combination rarely seen below €1500 at launch. Its 30 kg weight makes it the upper edge of 'still occasionally carryable,' and the 55 km/h top speed (unlocked) places it firmly in the performance-commuter category. Sold across the EU through Dualtron's distributor network, it's become the default upgrade path for riders graduating from Xiaomi/Ninebot-class scooters.
