Powerfly hardtail līnija — otrreizējā tirgū dažkārt apzīmēta kā Powerfly Sport — ir Trek iesācēju līmeņa pilnas jaudas e-MTB. Tas apvieno Alpha Platinum alumīnija rāmi ar 120 mm piekares dakšu, 29 collu riteņiem (27,5 uz S izmēra) un Bosch Performance Line CX motoru ar 85 Nm griezes momentu. Powerfly+ 4 un 4EQ tiek piegādāti ar 600 Wh PowerTube akumulatoru; Powerfly+ 6 un flagmanis 8 paceļas līdz 800 Wh. EQ aprīkojums pievieno spārnus, bagāžnieku un integrētus lukturus, lai velosipēds kalpotu arī kā smagais ikdienas braucamais vai taku tūrists. Eiropā platforma tiek pārdota par €3,299 līdz €4,999 — vispieejamākais veids, kā iegūt Bosch CX sistēmu no augstākā līmeņa zīmola. 2025. gadam līnija pārgāja uz jauno Bosch CX Gen 5 motoru un atjauninātu ģeometriju.

- Heavy at ~24 kg — manhandling and pedaling unassisted is hard work
- Entry trims run a basic SR Suntour XCM coil fork and a 1×10 Deore drivetrain — budget components on a premium platform
- Hardtail rear can cause arm/shoulder fatigue on long or rough descents (no rear suspension)
- Gen 4 US 500 Wh battery is not upgradeable / no range extender, and real range (~56 km) is modest for the weight
- No dropper post on the cheapest trim, limiting confident technical descending
