Specialized centās izveidot e-šosejas velosipēdu, kas nejustos kā tanks, kad motors izslēdzas pie 25 km/h. SL 1.1 motors tika izstrādāts, lai būtu viegls un bez berzes. Ar Creo 2 viņi atzina, ka e-šosejas braucēji dod priekšroku grants ceļiem un komfortam, mainot ģeometriju un riepu klīrensu uz jauktu segumu braukšanu. 1. paaudze (2019-2023): SL 1.1 motora palaišana, nosakot etalonu vieglajiem e-šosejas velosipēdiem. 2. paaudze (2023-pašlaik): Turbo Creo 2 palaišana: SL 1.2 motors (lielāks griezes moments, klusāks), pāreja uz grants ceļu spējām, Future Shock 3.0.
