Algupära

Pinarello was founded by Giovanni 'Nani' Pinarello in Treviso, Italy in 1952, and grew into one of cycling's most decorated marques. The Dogma name arrived in 2008 (originally a magnesium frame), but the carbon Dogma lineage that defines the modern bike began with the Dogma 60.1 in 2009-2010, just as the Team Sky partnership started. What followed was an extraordinary run of Grand Tour dominance: Bradley Wiggins (2012) and Chris Froome (2013) won the Tour de France on the Dogma 65.1 Think2, and the aerodynamically-reworked F8 (2014) opened the modern era. The F10 (2017) moved to Torayca T1100 carbon and a concave downtube; the F12 (2019, launched around the Tour de Yorkshire) hid the cables, gained ~8W of aero and won that year's Tour under Egan Bernal; and the 2022 Dogma F dropped ~265g versus the F12 while fully integrating the front end. In 2025 Pinarello went disc-only and switched to Toray M40X carbon. Across the F8/F10/F12/F generations the Dogma has powered more Tour de France victories than any bike of its era.

Verdikt

+Tugevused
  • Sublime, planted-yet-lively ride quality — a genuine race bike that stays comfortable over distance
  • Proven WorldTour pedigree and iconic looks; exceptional brand cachet and strong resale value
  • Each generation is measurably lighter, more aero and better integrated than the last
Nõrkused
  • Very expensive new (frameset alone runs into many thousands of euros); complete builds are halo-priced
  • Deep cable/cockpit integration (2022 F onward) makes fit changes and servicing more involved and costly
  • Not the outright lightest or most aero frame on paper — you pay a premium for the badge and feel
