Rental — how renting works
Some listings on URBALT are rental offers from rental businesses. Instead of a sale price, the card shows "rent from X €/day" — you don't buy the bike or scooter, you book it for the dates you need.
Where rentals live
- Rental offers live in Services — pick the Rental type in the filter.
- A rentable bike or scooter also shows up among the regular bikes and scooters in its section, so you'll meet rentals while browsing normally.
- The quick Rental filter in the right sidebar of a section shows only rental offers.
What the listing shows
- The vendor's tariff ladder — for example "from 7 days — 45 € / 7 days (≈6.43/day)". Longer rentals usually work out cheaper per day.
- Deposit (or "no deposit") and the minimum / maximum rental term.
- Fully booked periods, so you can see at a glance when the item is taken.
How to book
You won't find a date picker or a price calculator on the site — that's deliberate. The site shows the offer and leads you to the assistant; the exact quote and the booking happen in chat.
- Press Book via chat assistant on the listing. It opens a Telegram chat with the Aisha assistant (t.me/ai_sharobot) — she already knows which listing you came from.
- Tell her your dates. She calculates the exact price for them and checks availability.
- She books it with the owner. A booking is a request — the owner confirms it.
How the price is calculated
The vendor sets a rate for each period they offer (hour, day, week, month). The length of your booking picks one rate — the best one you qualify for — and the whole rental is charged at that rate. Aisha does this calculation for your exact dates.
For rental businesses
Rental fleets are managed through the Aisha assistant — no technical skills needed:
- Become a vendor.
- In your dashboard at /panel/vendor, open Aisha assistant and press Get connection code. The code works once and is valid for 15 minutes.
- Tell the code to Aisha in her Telegram chat. When she accepts it, the dashboard shows Connected.
- From then on you create and manage listings right from her chat — including rental-only listings with no sale price.
- Tariff ladder: set a price for each period you offer and leave the rest blank. The length of a booking picks the single best rate the customer qualifies for, and the whole booking is charged at it.
- Taking an offer down: set its stock to 0 — the listing is archived automatically. Stock above 0 brings it back.
