Choosing the right category

The first step of the listing wizard asks what you're selling. Pick the closest match and we tailor the rest of the form to it. Here's what each choice means.

The six top categories

  • Bike — any pedal-powered bicycle: MTB, road, gravel, city, trekking, folding, cargo, fatbike, BMX, kids, and more.
  • E-bike — a bicycle with an electric motor. Pick this and we'll treat it as an e-bike; the specific kind (e-MTB, e-city, e-cargo, e-trekking, e-gravel, e-road, e-folding) is set on the next step.
  • Scooter — electric or kick scooters.
  • Components — parts that go on a bike or scooter: drivetrain, brakes, wheels, suspension, cockpit, saddle & seatpost, frames, tires. You'll first say whether the part is for a bike or a scooter.
  • Accessories — gear that isn't a part: safety, visibility, carrying, mounts, electronics, wearables, tools & care.
  • Service — you're offering a service rather than an item: repair, tuning, custom builds, advice.

Do I have to pick the exact type?

For a bike or scooter, no. Choosing the broad category is enough to continue — the precise type is decided on the Brand & model step, where we read it from the model you choose. If your model isn't listed, you can pick the type by hand or skip it entirely; the listing then shows "type not set" and our support team can help tidy it up later.

For Components and Accessories, you do choose a sub-category (e.g. brakes, wheels, safety) so buyers can find the part in the right section of the marketplace.

Still not sure where it fits?

Pick whatever is closest — nothing here is permanent, and a moderator will gently re-file an item that landed in the wrong place. If you're stuck, contact support and we'll point you to the right category.
