Liv Pique
Origin
The Pique is Liv's women's-specific cross-country race bike — and the 2024 generation, codeveloped with the Liv Racing Off-Road World Cup team, was a clean-sheet redesign. The new Pique Advanced 29 ditched the previous Maestro four-bar suspension for a lighter single-pivot flex-stay layout that delivers 115mm of rear travel through a composite flex zone instead of a bearing pivot — a design pioneered by Trek's Supercaliber and adopted across the modern XC field. Travel grew from 100mm to 115mm rear and 120mm front, the head angle slackened, and the wheelbase grew longer — all moves chasing the modern XC course, which has become more downhill-aggressive every World Cup season. The Pique runs only on 29" wheels (no more 27.5 in any size), with frame sizes XS through L sized down to fit shorter-statured racers without compromising standover or reach. Top-tier Pique Advanced SL builds spec SRAM's wireless XX Eagle T-Type with an integrated Quarq power meter and Fox Factory suspension. It is the bike Liv brought to the Paris 2024 Olympics XC podium hunt.
