Endurace CF
Origin
The Endurace launched in 2014 as Canyon's first explicit endurance road bike — a more relaxed geometry than the Ultimate, with the brand's VCLS (Vertical Compliance, Lateral Stiffness) tube shaping and a signature split-shaft VCLS seatpost still used today. The original 2014 CF model paired a 1,040 g frame with 25 mm tyres on 18 mm internal-width DT Swiss rims, and a parallel Endurace AL aluminium version launched the same year. Over four generations the platform has moved progressively closer to the Aeroad — the 2026 generation, reviewed by BikeRadar as 'an aero bike with all-day fit', adds 38 mm tyre clearance, top-tube storage mounts and LOAD internal frame storage on CF SLX. The CFR flagship is now positioned as a pro Roubaix race bike. Honest summary: it's no longer a soft endurance machine, it's a fast all-road race bike for non-professionals.
