The verdict
+Strengths
- Yamaha PW-S2 motor delivers natural, quiet assistance ideal for multi-day touring
- Modular Rail System provides tool-free accessory mounting absent on most rivals
- 27.5" wheel + wide-volume Continental Contact Cruiser tyre absorbs mixed-surface vibration effectively
−Weaknesses
- 720 Wh battery is large but not the largest in class; range extender needed for extreme touring
- 10-speed microSHIFT drivetrain is capable but less premium-feeling than Shimano Deore at similar price points
- Weight undisclosed by manufacturer; comparable e-trekking bikes typically weigh 23–26 kg
