Origin
The Xenon sits in the middle of Stevens' road lineup — below the aero Arcalis but above entry-level alloy builds. Where the Arcalis is optimised for aerodynamics, the Xenon prioritises ride versatility: a 27.2 mm seatpost adds flex, the geometry is slightly more relaxed, and the frame is configurable via Stevens' Custom Bikes system in Hamburg. All bikes are assembled by hand at the Hamburg facility to order, typically delivered within three weeks. Named after xenon — the noble gas used in powerful bike lights, speaking to speed and brightness.

The verdict
+Strengths
- ~1,223 g frame+fork combined is genuinely impressive for a mid-range custom road bike
- Hand-built in Hamburg with full component customisation via configurator
- 27.2 mm seatpost adds real comfort on long rides without a suspension seatpost
−Weaknesses
- 28 mm tyre clearance is acceptable but limits off-road versatility vs modern endurance competitors
- Custom assembly adds 2–3 weeks vs stock bike purchase
- Rim brake version becoming legacy as the market moves to disc
