Origin

The Tabor is Stevens' aluminium gravel companion to the carbon Prestige — designed for riders who want adventure and bikepacking capability at an accessible price point. The aluminium 6061 triple-butted frame carries over CX DNA with a longer wheelbase and relaxed geometry built for all-day gravel and loaded touring. It is named after Tabor, the Czech city that regularly hosts UCI CX World Championships, honouring Stevens' deep roots in cyclocross.

The verdict

+Strengths
  • 45 mm clearance and bikepacking eyelets make it genuinely adventure-capable
  • GRX gravel drivetrain is well-matched to mixed terrain
  • Aluminium frame is durable and affordable to repair/replace
Weaknesses
  • Mechanical disc (TRP Spyre C) is effective but less powerful and consistent than hydraulic
  • 11.2 kg is on the heavier side for gravel riding
  • 10-speed limits future drivetrain upgrade paths
