Origin
The Zircus arrived circa 2020 as NS Bikes deliberate investment in the next generation of dirt jump riders. Recognising that adult DJ bikes were too large and intimidating for younger riders, NS built a purpose-scaled platform — not a shrunken adult bike, but a properly engineered youth dirt jumper with correct geometry for smaller bodies.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Two wheel sizes (20in / 24in) provide a logical progression path within the same product family
- Proper dirt jump geometry instils correct technique from the start
- Competitive price for a brand-name youth DJ bike with NS build quality
−Weaknesses
- Mixed braking (v-brake + mechanical disc) is inconsistent — one side is better than the other
- Suntour XCM fork is adequate but not inspiring for ambitious young riders
- Single-size frame limits fit range — some riders may outgrow it quickly
