Origin
The Range VLT is the electrified version of Norco's flagship enduro platform. The 2022 generation was the first to use EP8 and the modular battery system shared with the Sight VLT and Fluid VLT, representing a top-to-bottom electrification of the Norco trail MTB lineup.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Enduro-level 170/180 mm travel with modern 63° head angle for genuine big-mountain capability
- Modular battery system from 540 to 900 Wh suits everything from a day ride to multi-stage missions
- Alloy A builds offer the same motor/battery technology at a fraction of the carbon build price
−Weaknesses
- Extremely heavy (25+ kg with 900 Wh) — challenging to manhandle or transport
- Very slack geometry makes flat or uphill sections less efficient
- Battery sold separately makes real-world cost higher than the headline frame price
