Origin
The Raise is Megamo's road racing platform, designed specifically around climbing — the spiritual heartland of Spanish cycling. Built in the shadow of the Pyrenees and Catalan climbs near Girona, the Raise reflects what matters most to Spanish road riders: a lightweight frame that rewards uphill efforts. It transitioned to disc brakes ahead of many rivals, following the road peloton's shift toward hydraulic stopping power.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Carbon frame and disc brakes at a price point that undercuts larger-brand equivalents by a meaningful margin
- Climbing-optimized geometry rewards Spanish and Alpine terrain where riders spend most of their time going up
- Shimano 105 hydraulic disc gives proven, low-maintenance stopping regardless of weather
−Weaknesses
- Vittoria Zafiro base tires (25c) are functional but uninspiring — immediate upgrade candidate for performance-focused riders
- Brand recognition outside Iberia is limited, which affects peer validation and resale value in Northern European markets
- 11-speed base (Raise 20 2022) puts it a step behind 12-speed competitors already standard on rivals at similar price
