Origin
The Koga E-Nova launched around 2018 as a comfort-first trekking e-bike aimed at everyday riders who want to cover longer distances without strain. Unlike the performance-oriented Pace, the E-Nova prioritises ease of use: Bosch Intuvia with simple button control, a Feathershock fork, a suspension seatpost, and an 8-speed hub gear that shifts at any speed. The EVO variant added hydraulic disc brakes and larger battery options. The flagship EVO PT Pro version reaches up to 175 km range.

The verdict
+Strengths
- Bosch Active Line Plus is exceptionally quiet and natural-feeling for casual riders
- Belt drive + Nexus 8 hub gear means near-zero drivetrain maintenance
- Dual comfort system (Feathershock fork + suspension seatpost) genuinely absorbs city rough surfaces
−Weaknesses
- Bosch Active Line Plus (48 Nm) is less powerful than Performance CX on steep climbs with cargo
- At 24-25 kg, heavy enough that lifting onto bike storage hooks requires effort
- Intuvia display lacks the Smart System connectivity and range prediction of the newer Kiox 300 on Pace
