Stereo / Stereo ONE
Origin
The Stereo is Cube's full-suspension mountain bike platform — and the most internally complex one in the catalogue, because Cube uses the Stereo name across four very different bikes. The Stereo ONE22 is a 120 mm-travel carbon C:62 XC/down-country bike (€2,999+), the Stereo ONE44 is a 140 mm trail/all-mountain bike with C:62 or C:68X carbon and adjustable geometry (€3,799-€6,999), the Stereo ONE55 is a 150 mm enduro-leaning bike with progressive geometry, and the Stereo ONE77 is the flagship 170 mm enduro/park bike with C:68X carbon. All Stereo ONE bikes use Cube's Agile Trail Geometry, 29" or mullet wheel options, and SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) for Transmission compatibility. Drivetrains scale from Shimano Deore 12-speed on entry trims to SRAM X0 AXS Transmission on flagship builds. Weights range from ~13 kg (Stereo ONE22) to ~15 kg (Stereo ONE77 enduro). There's also the e-MTB Stereo Hybrid family that uses the same frame silhouette with a Bosch CX motor and 750-800 Wh battery — those are separate models from the non-electric Stereo ONE line.
The verdict

- BikeRadar 2022: geometry 'conservative — shorter reach/steeper than competitors'
- BikeRadar: less stable than rivals at speed on descents
- Plastic battery cover rattles (user reports, e-bike variants)
- Conservative geometry limits downhill confidence vs modern bikes
