Quick
Origin
The Cannondale Quick was born in the mid-2000s as the brand's answer to a simple question: what would a fitness bike look like if it inherited Cannondale's road-racing DNA instead of being assembled from leftover mountain-bike parts? The original Quick paired a lightweight aluminum frame with flat bars, narrower tires than a hybrid, and a slightly sportier geometry than the commuter-comfort norm of the era. Two decades later the line has settled into a clean ladder — Quick 1 through Quick 6, with the rougher-road Quick CX as a sibling — covering everything from a sub-$600 Tourney-equipped commuter to a Shimano Deore 1x11 fitness-flyer with hydraulic discs, integrated wheel-sensor mounts, and a carbon SAVE fork. The Quick never tried to be a single bike for a single rider. It tries to be the first non-bargain bike for someone who has decided cycling is no longer a hobby they're sampling but one they're doing.
