Origin
The Adventure Neo line launched in 2020 as Cannondale's mid-power urban-trekking e-bike — sitting between the lightweight Treadwell Neo (250Wh hub motor) and the full-power Moterra Neo (Bosch CX). Built in Cannondale's Asian alloy facilities around a SmartForm C2 aluminium frame with relaxed Ride-Easy geometry, the Adventure Neo uses a Bafang G020 250W rear hub motor with a 36V 11.6Ah (418Wh) integrated battery for the standard EU model, giving 20mph (25km/h EU) top speed and ~80km of range. The 'Allroad' variant added 650b wheels and bigger tyres for mixed surfaces; the 'Allroad Speed' variant (US-only, S-pedelec class) jumps to a 750W motor and 720Wh battery for 45km/h. The lineup includes numbered trims (Adventure Neo 1, 2, 3, 4) with increasing component quality, plus EQ variants with full commuter accessories. It's been refreshed annually since 2020 and remains in Cannondale's 2026 European catalogue as a core urban e-bike.
