Origin
The Introvert was Author's 27.5" carbon answer to XC racers who preferred the snappier, lighter feel of 27.5" wheels over 29ers. At its peak it fielded a FOX Step-Cast fork, Shimano XT drivetrain and brakes, and MAVIC Crossmax Pro UST wheels — a full XC race spec matching bikes costing significantly more. The model was phased out as the industry moved predominantly to 29" XC after ~2018.

The verdict
+Strengths
- 9.6 kg with MAVIC Crossmax Pro + FOX SC is genuine race spec
- Shimano XT throughout (brakes and drivetrain)
- 27.5" feel is snappier and more playful than 29er for some riders
−Weaknesses
- Discontinued — no current support from Author
- 27.5" XC is a niche that largely moved to 29" for racing
- Carbon monocoque may be harder to source post-production
