Marlin WSD / Marlin Women's

Used market only — all Marlin WSD/Women's models discontinued since 2021. The 2021 Marlin 7 Women's with 1x10 Deore and RockShox Judy is the best pick if you can find one.

The current unisex Marlin (Gen 3, 2023+) is a better buy for most women — it has thru-axle, improved frame, and XS sizes have the same low standover as the old WSD. Just swap the saddle to Bontrager Ajna.

Avoid 2012 and earlier WSD models unless very cheap — mechanical disc brakes, outdated drivetrain, and old fork technology make them poor value compared to a current budget bike.

Check wheel size before buying: XS/S came with 27.5" wheels, M/ML with 29". Ensure tire/wheel replacement compatibility.

QR axle on all Women's models (135x5mm) limits fork upgrade options. If upgrading fork is a priority, consider the current thru-axle unisex Marlin instead.
