Происхождение
When Merida launched the original Reacto in 2011, aero road bikes were a rarity. The brand pioneered bladed forks, seattube cutouts, dropped stays and fully integrated cabling when most race bikes still ran exposed cables. The Reacto has since run through five generations, earning World Tour victories from cobblestones to mountain stages, and famously serving as Mark Cavendish's sprint weapon. Each generation has pushed further on integration and aerodynamics while quietly growing tyre clearance from 25 mm to 32 mm.

Вердикт
+Достоинства
- World-class aero performance at a competitive price relative to Trek Madone or Specialized Venge-class bikes
- Disc Cooler heat management is a practical innovation for long descents and wet conditions
- 32 mm tyre clearance on current generation means race comfort without sacrificing aero intent
−Недостатки
- Fully integrated cockpit makes handlebar fit adjustments complex — important to get sizing right before purchase
- CF3 builds add meaningful weight versus CF5; budget builds undercut the aero story with heavier wheels
- Less climbing-oriented than the Scultura — riders mixing terrain may prefer the lighter sibling
