E-ASX
Algupära
Ghost was founded in 1993 in Waldsassen, Bavaria, by Uwe Kalliwoda and Klaus Moehwald, and grew into one of Germany's best-known mainstream mountain-bike makers, later becoming part of the Accell Group. The E-ASX sits in Ghost's e-mountain-bike line as its full-suspension all-mountain/enduro platform, distinct from the lighter ASX/RIOT trail family. Built around Bosch's Performance Line CX drive unit from the outset, the E-ASX targets riders who want long, self-shuttled tours and technical descents on a budget-to-mid alloy chassis rather than a boutique carbon build. Across its life the bike kept a consistent recipe — alloy frame, mullet wheels, Bosch power, generous travel — while battery capacity climbed from ~625 Wh toward 800 Wh and the 2025/26 generation adopted Bosch's newest CX motor plus optional ABS.

Verdikt
- Bosch Performance CX motor with natural, dynamic power delivery and strong climbing
- Big battery (up to 800 Wh) gives genuine full-day range with assist management
- Capable, well-balanced all-mountain geometry with mullet wheels; ABS option on top trims
- Mid-range components on value trims (SX/NX Eagle) leave upgrade potential
- Heavy (~25 kg+), and the motor mass dulls jumping/manualing versus a non-assisted enduro bike
- Alloy-only frame; suspension on cheaper builds can reach its limits at higher speeds
