The Trek Remedy was introduced as a heavy-hitting all-mountain bike. Over the years, as the Slash took over the 29er enduro racing segment, the Remedy carved out a niche as the playful, 27.5-inch wheeled trail brawler for riders who preferred air time and agility over pure rollover speed. Gen 1 (2007-2009): Launch as 6-inch all-mountain Trek model; ABP brake-pivot patent debuts. Gen 2 (2010-2012): DRCV shock; geometry slackened. Gen 5 (2019-2023): Moved exclusively to 27.5 wheels, beefier frame, fixed lower shock mount.
