The Sutra has anchored Kona's touring range for over a decade — built around the brand's founding philosophy that steel is the right material for bikes you ride day after day, loaded. The LTD variant debuted in 2015 (the powder-blue original) and broke the mold by giving a touring bike a dropper post, flat-mount disc brakes, and MTB-sized 2.25" Maxxis Rekon Race tires — turning a tradition-bound category into an off-road-capable adventure machine. Mostly unchanged in 2025 save paint, which is itself a statement.
