01SLR Boost launched in 2018 — three years after Specialized Power, one year before Fizik Argo. Selle Italia was the second major brand to enter the short-nose category.
02The Boost shape is 248mm — longer than Specialized Power (240mm) but shorter than Fizik Argo Short (265mm). It sits in the middle of the short-nose triangle.
03Rails were extended +10mm to compensate for the shorter nose — preserves the seatpost setback adjustment range of the original SLR.
04Kit Carbonio Superflow with carbon rails comes in at 135–142g — competitive with Power Pro Mirror (193g, heavier due to 3D padding) and Argo Versus Evo R1 (143g).
