Mondraker is a Spanish brand founded in 2001 in Elche (Alicante), best known for pioneering Forward Geometry in 2013 — a long-reach, short-stem philosophy that pushed the front wheel further out for stability and has since become an industry-wide standard. The F-Podium is Mondraker's dedicated cross-country race weapon and the marque's flagship full-suspension XC platform, first launched around 2018 to bring that Forward Geometry DNA into the featherweight world of World Cup XCO racing. Where most XC bikes chase pure efficiency, the F-Podium was conceived to be a race bike you can also point down something genuinely steep. Over the years it spawned a 'DC' (Down Country) variant with more travel for aggressive trail duty, before Mondraker completely redesigned the frame for 2024 — merging the pure-XC and DC bikes into a single, more capable 110mm platform with a slacker head angle and longer front centre.

01The F-Podium uses Mondraker's twin-link Zero Suspension System (ZSS) rather than the flex-stay single-pivot layouts most rival XC bikes adopted for weight — Mondraker keeps real pivots to better control the wheel path.
02It was one of the first true race-XC bikes to embrace an intentionally slack head angle (66.5deg), a number that would have been considered trail-bike territory only a few years earlier.
03The top-tier RR SL runs SRAM XX SL Eagle AXS T-Type with a factory power meter built into the crank and RockShox Flight Attendant electronic suspension — a fully wireless, self-adjusting XC race bike.
04For 2024 Mondraker retired the separate F-Podium DC (Down Country) model, folding its extra capability into the standard F-Podium so the whole range now shares one 120/110mm frame.
