Algupära

The Revelator launched in 2011 as KTM's entry into carbon road racing. The current 'Alto' generation embraces aero tube shaping — dropped seatstays, teardrop fork legs and full internal routing — in a multi-trim ladder spanning 105 disc to Dura-Ace. The Alto Exonic sits at €8 999 at the top of the range; the Pro is a practical mid-budget choice at under €3 000. All current models use disc brakes and 12 mm thru-axles.

Verdikt

+Tugevused
  • Dropped seatstay design adds real-world vertical compliance for long rides
  • Wide trim ladder from 105 to Dura-Ace covers every budget in the carbon road segment
  • Full internal routing and clean aesthetics match the aero intent of the frame
Nõrkused
  • 9.3 kg at 105 spec is competitive but not class-leading lightness
  • Compact-aggressive geometry may not suit riders wanting a more upright endurance position
  • Entry 105 builds use aluminium wheels — an upgrade is almost immediate on most buyers' lists
