Algupära
The Doctrine is Felt's cross-country hardtail race bike, built around UHC Advanced carbon that Felt calls its stiffest and lightest XC frame. The flagship FRD frame weighs about 860 g. Felt's engineers played opposites against each other: thin seatstays flex vertically to smooth out small, repetitive trail buzz, while short, stiff chainstays keep cornering sharp and acceleration immediate. A 69-degree head angle slackens it enough for control on faster descents, a steep seat angle aids climbing, and the 1x-specific frame with full-carbon dropouts keeps things clean and light.

Verdikt
+Tugevused
- Extremely light and stiff carbon XC race frame
- Thin seatstays add real seated comfort to a hardtail
- Agile, fast-climbing geometry built for race pace
−Nõrkused
- Hardtail rear limits traction and comfort on rough descents
- XC race geometry is aggressive and singular in purpose
- Top carbon builds are expensive
