Pro 29+
Algupära
"Classic" is a value-tier bicycle house label distributed across the Baltic region — you find it in Latvian and Lithuanian bike shops (mysport.lv, velooutlets.com, veloexpress.lv, libaubike.lv, zzk.lv) rather than as a globally marketed brand with its own R&D story. Like many regional store labels, the bikes are assembled from off-the-shelf component groups (Shimano Tourney/Altus, generic HL-565 forks, Schwalbe or Maxxis tyres) around an aluminium frame and sold at a keen price point. The Pro 29 line is the brand's workhorse hardtail: a 29-inch wheeled, triple-chainring MTB pitched at riders who want a real disc-brake bike for gravel roads, forest paths and city commuting without stepping up to €700+ branded machines. The line has run for several seasons (2023 through the 2026 "Pro 29+" units) with the exact componentry shifting batch to batch.

Verdikt
- Strong value: real Shimano hydraulic discs (on the 24k) and an alloy frame for well under €500 on sale
- Wide-range 3x7/3x8 gearing copes with hills and loaded commuting
- Common, cheap-to-service parts (Shimano Tourney/Altus, generic fork) — any Baltic shop can fix it
- Basic coil fork (HL-565, no lockout) and heavy ~15kg build — fine for paths, out of its depth on technical trails
- Spec is inconsistent across trims and batches (hydraulic vs mechanical brakes, Schwalbe vs Maxxis tyres, 7 vs 8 speed) — you must verify the exact unit
- Store-label brand: no manufacturer support network, limited resale recognition, and quality control depends on the assembling shop
Põlvkonnad
24k trim
- The one to want — hydraulic brakes and a proper 8-speed cassette. Best value if the price is right.
- Pidurid
- Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc
21k trim
- Cheaper build: mechanical discs need more adjustment, freewheel wears faster than a cassette hub.
- Pidurid
- Mechanical disc
2026 Pro 29+
- Latest badge, Maxxis Ardent tyres, but on the units seen it reverts to mechanical discs — confirm brake type before buying.
- Pidurid
- Tektro mechanical disc
